Katherine McVety is a photographer who lives and works in Massachusetts. She received her BFA in Painting and Art History from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University. She has taught Photography and Photo History at Columbia University, Fairfield University, Ohio University, and Lesley University College of Art and Design. From 1992-1996, she worked as a photojournalist and editor based in Beijing, PRC. She maintains a studio in Lincoln, MA.
